Alan has worked with Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Oppenheimer & Co. Before that, he worked for the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement as North Carolina State University’s Director of Accounting. He graduated from North Carolina State University with his B.A. in Accounting and was awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He serves the community by volunteering and serving many causes including the American Red Cross Heroes, Meals on Wheels, and Asheville Youth Cycling. Alan works alongside his wife Lisa on their family farm in Hendersonville, NC, where they are active in their local church. When not in the office, Alan will be found outdoors where he spends much of his spare time cycling, hunting, fishing, and coaching his four very active children in all their sporting activities.
